Line and Copy Editing Services

Down Payment: $75

The down payment is due before editing begins. The final invoice will be attached along with the final manuscript. The term of payment is Due on Receipt unless otherwise noted on the invoice.

Preferred Method of Payment: PayPal

 

Turnaround time: 5 days

Need the edits sooner than 5 days?
I can do a rush job for an extra $35.

Late Payment Fee: $25

I work seven days a week to make sure deadlines are met. Therefore, another invoice with the late payment fee will be emailed to the author if 48 hours have passed from the due date and there is still no payment. If payment arrangements are necessary, please let me know during the editing process or before it starts so that I can accommodate your needs. It is important to communicate with me so that no misunderstandings arise and penalties are avoided.

As this is still a business, failure to send payment by the new due date will halt any and all projects in the future.

Refunds and Cancellations

Projects can only be cancelled within two days from the the start of the project. After two days have passed and the author still wants to cancel, 25% of the down payment will not be refundable. Refunds will be made via PayPal.

Deadlines

If an author is unable to send the manuscript on time, it is not my responsibility if other deadlines are missed. Only full manuscripts will be accepted. A 24-hour grace period will be provided if there is a delay. Otherwise, the project will need to be rescheduled for a future date.

By utilizing my services, you have agreed to these terms and will be bound by them in the same way as a contract.

There is no guarantee that your novel will be free of typos or grammatical errors even after a thorough editing using Track Changes.
